<p>Responsibilities The Vice President of Engineering will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of engineering design, development, and implementation for our data center infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in hyperscale data center engineering, power and cooling innovations, and emerging technologies that drive efficiency and performance. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams in the data center industry. This position will be based in New York or Dallas. We'll trust you to: Lead the engineering strategy and execution for the design of hyperscale data centers. Oversee all technical aspects of data center design, including power, cooling, network infrastructure, and sustainability. Drive innovation in high-density power and cooling solutions, including liquid cooling, immersion cooling, and energy efficiency initiatives. Collaborate with executive leadership, construction, operations, and sales teams to align engineering strategies with business objectives. Develop and implement best practices for reliability, scalability, and security in data center operations. Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ASHRAE, and regulatory requirements. Build and lead a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and technical excellence. Evaluate and manage relationships with architectural, engineering, and construction firms to optimize data center development. Monitor emerging trends in AI, cloud, and high-performance computing to future-proof infrastructure investments #RelatedDigital Qualifications 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role within the data center industry. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field (Master's preferred). Strong expertise in hyperscale data center design, high-density power and cooling solutions, and sustainable infrastructure. Proven track record of leading engineering teams and delivering large-scale infrastructure projects. Deep knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering principles as they apply to data centers. Experience working with hyperscale cloud providers and AI-driven workloads. Strong business acumen with the ability to align engineering strategies with overall company objectives. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities. Compensation The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
