<p>The Cultivation Technician will assist the cultivation management team with all tasks associated with the daily maintenance and production of a medicinal cannabis crop. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and the ability to interact positively and effectively in a team environment.</p> <p>Cultivation Technicians must maintain excellent personal hygiene, work space cleanliness, and quality control measures to ensure a high quality product in accordance with the state and company standards.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <ul> <li>Perform daily plant care activities, including planting, watering, pruning, trellising, defoliating, and monitoring plant health. </li><li>Monitor environmental conditions (humidity, temperature, light levels) and report variances to management. </li><li>Perform cloning, transplanting, and other propagation duties with a focus on consistency and care. </li><li>Assist with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) protocols under direction. </li><li>Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in cultivation and work areas according to SOPs and CCC regulations. </li><li>Accurately track plant movements and updates in the state-mandated seed-to-sale tracking system (e.g., Metrc). </li><li>Execute harvest procedures, including cutting, trimming, drying, and weighing plant material. </li><li>Complete required logs, forms, and documentation for compliance audits. </li><li>Adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety requirements. </li><li>Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals. </li><li>Assist with special projects or tasks as assigned by the Cultivation Manager. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Strong work ethic & willingness to take instruction. 1+ year of cannabis cultivation or commercial horticulture experience preferred, but not required. An extra commitment to receiving on-the-job training from the Cultivation Manager or Team Lead, to support sustainable and efficient production practices in our cultivation facility setting. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly required to perform grasping, lifting, walking, standing, talking, hearing, seeing, stooping and repetitive motions. This </li></ul> <p>position also requires working in warm and humid conditions. You must be able to work autonomously given instructions.</p> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>This position is full-time. The individual will work a minimum of 40 hours on site. This position is VERY LABOR INTENSIVE.
