<p>Job Title: Industrial Designer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Join our dynamic team as an Industrial Designer, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the design team by assisting with product design packages specifically tailored for customers. Work closely with our product development teams to innovate and conceptualize new features and enhancements for our medical device portfolio.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a key resource on the Global Design team based in Batesville, IN. </li><li>Collaborate with R&D teams, including New Product Development, Sustaining Engineering, Marketing, and Market Research. </li><li>Work with internal and external customers to determine design requirements. </li><li>Brainstorm and create graphics/visuals for User Interfaces and product labeling. </li><li>Receive direction from others in the Global Design group regarding priorities and assigned tasks. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Industrial Design, Visual Communication (Graphic) Design, or a related major. </li><li>Ability to apply Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) principles in creating effective User Interface concepts. </li><li>Advanced computer skills in 2D graphics/illustration software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite. </li><li>Proficiency in Graphic design, Solidworks, Autocad, Mechanical design, Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of Figma is a strong plus but not required. </li><li>Knowledge of Adobe XD is a plus but not required. </li><li>Familiarity with KeyShot, Strata 3D CX is a plus but not required. </li><li>Some knowledge of SolidEdge or other 3D CAD software is a plus but not required. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This hybrid position requires at least three onsite days in our office located in Batesville, Indiana.
