We take a proactive, responsible approach to creating safe environments that empower us to do what we do best-provide outstanding healthcare and wellness support.</p> <p>Position Summary: CWS Worker</p> <p>The CWS Worker plays a critical role in supporting child safety, family stability, and long-term well-being. This position operates within the Child Welfare Services (CWS) Referral Program, helping families reduce risk by connecting them to community-based resources and services. The CWS Worker helps families remain together and function more safely through ongoing assessment, outreach, and solution-focused support.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Conduct weekly home visits to assess safety and risk concerns impacting children.</p> <p>Use critical thinking and a solution-focused approach to address family needs and challenges.</p> <p>Provide referrals and link families to community services, including:</p> <p>Parenting support and education</p> <p>Short-term in-home assistance</p> <p>Medical care</p> <p>Other tailored services based on family-specific needs</p> <p>Promote protective factors and encourage family strengths to reduce risks and enhance functioning.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education & Experience:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related Human Services field required.</p> <p>1-2 years of experience working with children, families, or at-risk populations.</p> <p>Experience with trauma, mental health, substance use, or domestic violence is a plus.</p> <p>Familiarity with community resources and services preferred.</p> <p>Proficient in Microsoft Office.</p> <p>Open to reflective practice and serving multi-stressed families.</p> <p>Certifications & Licensure:</p> <p>Obtain an IDCFS CWEL, CERAP, and CANS certification through the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services training. Must complete and maintain First Aid and CPR certification within 3 months of employment.</p> <p>Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable personal vehicle required.</p> <p>Must have a clear driving record.</p> <p>Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.</p> <p>Compensation & Benefits:</p> <p>Hourly rate: $22.00 - $24.00, depending on experience</p> <p>Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance</p> <p>Life and Disability Insurance</p> <p>Paid Vacation, Sick Days, and Holidays</p> <p>401(k) Retirement Plan, Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</p> <p>Employee Discounts (cell phones, restaurants, etc.)</p> <p>Aunt Martha's is an equal opportunity employer.?We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
