You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.</p> <p>Job responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Strong skills in SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, Terraform, Teradata is preference but experience in any other RDBMS technology would suffice. </li><li>Experience with K8S services, deployments, failover mechanism, networking, security polices, including CNI plugins, ingress controllers and service meshes. </li><li>Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems </li><li>Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems </li><li>Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development </li><li>Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems </li><li>Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture </li><li>Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience. </li><li>DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes/AWS/Terraform/Python) professional with 5+ years applied experience. </li><li>Proficiency on AWS Cloud Platform, with system design, application/tools/interface/modules development, testing, problem solving and operational stability. </li><li>Hands-on infrastructure as code tools, such as Terraform, Helm chart. </li><li>Having Databricks knowledge is added advantage. </li><li>Design, deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters across various environments (on-premises, AWS cloud, hybrid) as a Kubernetes platform Engineer. </li><li>Minimum 4+ years of experience in Terraform, Python, Shell scripting technologies. </li><li>Hands-on infrastructure as code tools, Terraform, Helm chart, independently design, build, test and deploy the code. </li><li>Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery tools like, Jules / Spinnaker / Jenkins integration </li><li>Ability to set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for Kubernetes clusters using Grafana, Prometheus and Splunk </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with SAS VIYA, Databricks </li><li>Exposure to AWS cloud technologies </li></ul>
