<p>Position Overview</p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician Trainee to support our growing Long-Term Care pharmacy operations. Under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, this trainee will assist in various aspects of pharmacy workflow including medication preparation and delivery, inventory management, and patient support. A key focus of this role will be assisting the Customer Service team during the onboarding of new Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), ensuring a smooth transition for each facility.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities (Includes but is not limited to):</p> <ul> <li>Assist Customer Service team with onboarding new LTC facilities. </li><li>Label and prepare medication carts for delivery. </li><li>Transition medications from old carts to new ones at facility sites. </li><li>Provide onsite and post-go-live support during facility transitions. </li><li>Prepare requisitions for drugs and supplies with pharmacist oversight. </li><li>Support pharmacy operations during go-live implementation tasks. </li><li>Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and company privacy standards. </li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to print prescription labels and package medications per LTC policy. </li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-service mindset. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. </li><li>High degree of personal integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. </li><li>Previous experience in Long-Term Care pharmacy is a plus, but not required. </li><li>Familiarity with FrameworkLTC pharmacy system is a plus. </li><li>Must be able to follow HIPAA guidelines and pharmacy protocols. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to sit, stand, reach, and use hands/fingers for extended periods. </li><li>Visual, auditory, and verbal communication abilities required. </li><li>Ability to lift and move up to 10 lbs regularly, 25 lbs frequently, and 50 lbs occasionally. </li></ul> <p>Salary and Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary commensurate with experience </li><li>Comprehensive benefits package including: </li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance </li><li>401(k) with company match </li><li>Paid time off (PTO) and holidays </li><li>Opportunities for professional growth and advancement </li></ul> <p>Join our mission to provide compassionate, accurate, and timely pharmacy services to those who need it most.</p> <p>We welcome applicants looking to begin or grow their career in pharmacy with a dynamic and supportive team.</p>
