Together, we are EXP.</p> <p>Are you ready to design your future?</p> <p>Be our next Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager</p> <p>Your work environment at EXP</p> <p>In this role, you will be a part of the Electrical team, for Hospitality and Entertainment projects in the Milwaukee or Madison, WI office.</p> <p>What a day at EXP has in store for you</p> <ul> <li>Effectively lead and mentor design level staff in both technical and non-technical skills. </li><li>Effectively QC own work and work of other staff (IE: drawings, RFI answers, submittal reviews). </li><li>Demonstrate ability to collaborate with project manager in determining deliverables to meet project budget. </li><li>Effectively execute deliverables to meet project budget. </li><li>Independently represent EXP in project meetings / site visits; properly document results as required. </li><li>Successfully solve complex problems within time & budget. </li><li>Develop, monitor, and successfully execute electrical work plans to meet schedule and budget. </li><li>Demonstrate ability to educate clients on code requirements during meetings, design charettes, etc. </li><li>Independently prepare studies and reports for electrical systems and present findings to client. </li><li>Developing tools or standards to improve efficiency and/or quality of EXP work product. </li><li>Expert in specific electrical requirements for applications within a minimum of one market sector. </li><li>Evaluate Value Engineering (cost cutting) items with respect to EXP's level of risk. </li><li>Lead the implementation of Basis of Design narratives into DD and CD drawings. </li><li>Demonstrate high level of knowledge of lighting, normal and emergency power, and fire alarm systems. </li><li>Perform field verification and take-offs of existing systems for renovation projects independently. </li><li>Lead meetings with contractors during bid phase to review the design details. </li><li>Evaluate contractor pricing and cost estimates. </li><li>Perform at a 'responsible charge' level of meeting EXP's design and quality levels. </li><li>Demonstrate presentation skills through internal and external technical presentations. </li><li>Lead participation in voluntary training opportunities such as vendor lunch and learns. (IE: engage and ask questions). </li><li>Positively contribute to EXP and local office culture. </li></ul> <p>What your experience looks like</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 7 years' experience in related design of Hospitality, Entertainment, Commercial and building projects. </li><li>Engineering Degree (BS Architectural Engineering, or BS Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree) </li><li>Revit MEP proficient </li><li>Registered Professional Engineer in State of Wisconsin (Preferred) </li><li>Ability to travel locally. </li></ul> <p>The salary range for this role is $105,000 to $135,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location. Compensation may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor.</p> <p>In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package for all full-time employees, including health insurance, vacation time, and 401(k) retirement benefits.</p>
