<p>POSITION TITLE: Speech Language Pathologist</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure and/or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Eligibility for or possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Knowledge of federal and state special education laws and regulations. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.</p> <p>CONTRACT: 190 days</p> <p>EVALUATOR(S): Director of Student Services</p> <p>JOB DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>The Speech-Language Pathologist provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders in students. The SLP collaborates with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication skills and academic success.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations for students. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with communication disorders. Provide individual and small-group speech and language therapy services. Maintain documentation, progress monitoring, and service logs in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student communication goals. Provide consultation and training to school staff regarding communication strategies and accommodations. Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed. Maintain confidentiality and comply with IDEA, FERPA, and district policies. Complete required Medicaid billing and service documentation if applicable. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.</p>
