The Nurse Educator reports to the Senior Director of Health Care Services. They will serve as liaison between the Learning and Development Department and Health Care Services. The Nurse Educator will also serve as lead instructor of the Department of Public Medication Administration Program (MAP) and other identified trainings.</p> <p>Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts who is motivated and enthusiastic about training. </li><li>A minimum of 5 years' nursing experience. </li><li>Computer literacy is required, including the ability to use excel, Microsoft word, record data, use electronic time and attendance software, receive and send electronic mail, and work with he agency-approved electronic health care record. </li><li>Knowledge of nursing care theories, methods, procedures, and practices. </li><li>Two years' experience working with individuals with disabilities and case management preferred. </li><li>Must possess a valid driver's license in the state of residence. </li><li>Effective critical thinking, communication, and writing skills. </li><li>Ability to present complex information in a clear manner to a diverse audience. </li><li>Must possess strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities and work within a team environment. </li><li>Must be motivated and enthusiastic about training and designing training curriculum </li><li>Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles </li><li>Ability to work with staff with diverse cultures and backgrounds </li><li>Ability to push, pull and lift at least 25 lbs. </li></ul>
