This position supports invoice management, reconciliation and budget forecasting.</p> <p>The Contract Administrator performs analytical and core contract administration tasks in support of Contracting and Value Analysis. This position includes heavy emphasis on contract renewals, new contract implementations, and analytical tasks. High level spreadsheet and word processing skills are necessities. Should excel at multitasking and be detail oriented.</p> <p>This role will work approximately 80% remotely, 20% on site in our Philadelphia offices on an as-needed basis.</p> <p>What you will do</p> <ul> <li>Performs routine contract administration tasks in support of contract management to include assisting with and/or performing competitive bidding, negotiation, award and implementation of contracts, maintaining existing contracts, contract renewals and vendor relationship management. </li><li>Prepares annual budget for service contracts based on current and future contract commitments. </li><li>Utilizes available analytical tools (e.g Qlikview, Meditract, Lawson, internet) to prepare analysis </li><li>Meets with customers to review contract performance and provides feedback on options </li><li>Analyzes contracts and contract metadata to identify those due for renewal, assign risk level and create task lists. </li><li>Extracts data from CHOP systems and loads data to CHOP systems </li><li>Provides reports to customers when contracts have been implemented </li><li>Monitors expenditures to verify service/quantity requirements are met and ensures rebates, credits, patronage fees are received </li><li>Interacts with suppliers to obtain necessary information in a timely and professional manner </li><li>Provides insight and suggestions for process and communication improvement between supply chain stakeholders </li><li>Prepares contract cover memos including key data used in searching for the contract within the electronic contract repository; also scans and uploads contracts to repository. </li><li>Conducts contract negotiations </li><li>Develops and maintains financial dashboards based on established performance metrics </li><li>Files documentation. </li><li>Follows all hospital, regulatory and legal guidelines regarding contracting. </li><li>Works collaboratively with all levels of Supply Chain staff and management </li><li>Reports progress on a monthly or as requested basis. </li><li>Responsible for optimizing $8 - 12 million in annual purchased service expenses. </li></ul> <p>Education Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree - Required </li><li>Bachelor's Degree Business Management or related field - Preferred </li></ul> <p>Experience Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>At least five (5) years of related experience in supply chain management - Preferred </li><li>Experience working in a healthcare provider environment or with medical products - Preferred </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Contracting / Supply Chain </li><li>Moderate to strong understanding of full contracting lifecycle, contract language, terminology, and conditions </li><li>Understand and interpret financial analysis such as contract cost impact statement and pricing comparison </li><li>Basic understanding of fundamentals of project management, process improvement and sustainability practices </li><li>Understanding of supply chain procure to pay cycle </li><li>Understanding of business software (ERP systems) and organizational structure </li><li>Analytical Skills </li><li>Ability to analyze and interpret qualitative data </li><li>Keen ability to compile data and evaluate data and processes </li><li>Problem solving attitude and aptitude </li><li>Strong written, verbal and presentation skills </li><li>Quick learner, Inquisitive and motivated individual </li><li>Other </li><li>Moderate to advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, data analysis, business case development, ERP systems. </li><li>Basic Project Management, Time Management and Organization skills </li><li>Customer service focused </li><li>Strong relationship management skills </li></ul> <p>To carry out its mission, CHOP is committed to supporting the health of our patients, families, workforce, and global community.
