<p>Overview</p> <p>Certified Home Health Aide</p> <p>Good Shepherd Hospice Inpatient Unit-Port Jefferson</p> <p>7:00 AM to 7:30 PM</p> <p>Good Shepherd Hospice Home Health Aide works under the supervision of the appropriate professional staff, is responsible for providing personal care that assists the patient/caregiver in the achievement of optimal physical and emotional comfort at the Good Shepherd Hospice Inpatient Center in Port Jefferson, NY.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have a prior Home Health Aide experience and will demonstrate basic understanding and commitment to the hospice concept of care for the terminally ill.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>Certified Home Health Aides provide activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and more.</p> <p>Our HHAs work closely with the RN and LPNs on site in providing care and support to our patients and family members.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certificate required </li><li>NYS Driver's License with car in working order </li></ul> <p>Salary Range</p> <p>USD $19.00 - USD $19.50 /Hr.</p> <p>This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
