If you want to use your skills to build a healthier, more resilient community, we encourage you to apply.</p> <p>This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Oconee County Clinic, 115 Carter Park Drive, Seneca, SC 29678.</p> <p>As an Administrative Assistant, under the limited supervision of the Oconee County Clinic Manager, employee is the administrative office manager, responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient execution of all functions of the administrative area. Supervises all administrative staff and acts as Administrative Assistant to the Clinic Manager.</p> <p>Responsibilities for the Administrative Assistant -</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the cross-training and supervision of administrative employees assigned to the front office and medical records operations. Maintain records performance measurement system of assigned employees, assuring functions are executed accurately, timely, efficiently and that all patients are treated with dignity and respect. </li><li>Assist Oconee County Clinic Manager with various reports, computer generated graphs/tables, scheduling, correspondence, minute taking and other administrative tasks for continuity of care. Assist with purchase requests. Serve as back up for all administrative duties when needed. Serve as a member of the AOP Safety and Transportation Committee. </li><li>Prepare new charts for Wednesday staff meetings, audits charts for completion, and enters clinical information after staffing. Update any changes in the computer to records (X-referrals, discharges, etc.) and audits for completion. Receive telephone calls and handles requests from clinical staff. </li><li>Manage Janitorial Contract Services, Vehicle mileage logs and office supplies. </li></ul> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus. </li></ul> <p>Additional Comments</p> <p>Post hire, employees must have:</p> <ul> <li>Thorough knowledge of general administration functions. </li><li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the general public. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. </li><li>Ability to plan, assign and review the work of others. </li><li>Be able to pass CPR and Managing Agitation in the Psychiatric Setting (MAPS) Certification. </li></ul>
