For more than a century, UPMC Magee has been caring for women through all stages of their lives, and we are looking for the next talented employee to join our team.</p> <p>The Labor & Delivery Department at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital is an extraordinarily high-volume maternity unit dedicated to caring for patients experiencing normal/natural childbirth, as well as complicated high-risk deliveries, patients with substance abuse, and pregnancy loss. The Labor & Delivery Department encompasses an OB emergency department, labor suite, OR, PACU, and ICU. You will work with many different OB disciplines and providers with various approaches to childbirth-including Resident physicians, family practice physicians, OB attending physicians, and midwives. Previous postpartum or labor & delivery experience is strongly preferred, however, candidates with Med Surg (Acute Care), ED, and/or ICU experience will be considered.</p> <p>What can you Expect as a Professional Staff Nurse?</p> <p>The Professional Staff Nurse provides highly competent patient care and treatment while demonstrating empathy and a passion for learning.
