<p>The Health Physicist l X-Ray Inspector position works independently to conduct inspections, investigations and evaluate various types of X-Ray machines in various environments, to determine compliance with the North Carolina Regulations for Protection Against Radiation. Prepares detailed and technical reports of inspection findings, tracks findings and reviews records submitted for compliance. Serves as a member of the State Emergency Response Team as required to maintain Homeland Security.  Attends continuing education classes and training to maintain current knowledge of radiologic effects and agency needs.
