<p>Miami Valley Hospital North</p> <p>Exercise Physiologist (PRN)</p> <ul> <li>PRN: 7:30am - 3:30pm (days vary) </li><li>No holidays or Weekends </li></ul> <p>The Exercise Physiologist-Cardiac Rehabilitation (EP) assumes a dynamic leadership role on the interdisciplinary patient care teams. This individual identifies patient care needs, develops a plan of care and goals in collaboration with the patient, provides care within the scope of practice, provides education and support to patients/families, and facilitates continuing care planning.</p> <p>The EP participates in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities. The EP is responsible for demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.</p> <p>Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's degree</p> <ul> <li>Type of degree: Master of Science in Exercise Science or equivalent </li><li>Area of study or major: Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation </li></ul> <p>Licensure/Certification/Registration</p> <ul> <li>Current CPR and ACLS certification required at time of hire. </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <p>Minimum Level of Experience Required: 1 - 3 years of job-related experience</p> <p>Preferred experience: 1-3 years of job-related experience.</p> <p>Other experience requirements: Cardiac or Pulmonary Rehabilitation</p> <p>Knowledge/Skills</p> <ul> <li>Able to multi-task with constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor. </li><li>Dependable, flexible and adaptable to change. </li><li>Teamwork oriented. </li><li>Display tact, diplomacy, and professionalism. </li><li>Strong analytical and prioritization skills. </li><li>Strong organizational skills. </li><li>Effective oral and written communication skills. </li><li>Maintain a high degree of confidentiality. </li><li>Basic computer knowledge and skills. </li></ul>
