With over 40 years of industry experience, we're committed to empowering our clients with cutting-edge technology and exceptional service.</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>ESC is seeking a motivated Building Automation Account Manager for the Central Massachusetts and Northern New England area to join our team. This role involves driving sales growth by developing new business relationships, maintaining existing client partnerships, and delivering customized automation solutions tailored to client needs.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including building owners, facilities managers, and contractors. </li><li>Solution Selling: Understand client challenges and recommend customized building automation and energy management solutions. </li><li>Lead Generation: Identify new sales opportunities through networking, industry events, and market research. </li><li>Proposal Development: Prepare and present detailed proposals, including scope of work, pricing, and ROI analysis. </li><li>Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and service teams, to ensure client success. </li><li>Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activities. </li><li>Performance Goals: Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required). </li><li>Proven track record in sales, preferably in building automation, HVAC, or related technical industries. </li><li>Familiarity with building automation systems, energy management solutions, or related technologies. </li><li>5+ years in similar role/industry </li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. </li><li>Self-driven and goal-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities. </li><li>Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. </li><li>Ability to travel as required within the assigned territory. </li></ul> <p>Why ESC?</p> <ul> <li>Competitive base salary with commission </li><li>Full suite of benefits, including health insurance, dental plans, and 401(k) contributions </li><li>Opportunities for professional development and career advancement. </li><li>A collaborative, supportive, and innovative work environment. </li><li>The chance to work with a company dedicated to sustainability and technological excellence. </li></ul> <p>Our home office is located at 18 Jansen Ct, West Hartford, Connecticut, 06110.
