This senior individual contributor role provides strategic leadership and hands-on partnership to advance banker-facing platforms, tools, and equipment-ensuring experiences are intuitive, scalable, and aligned to enterprise priorities and frontline needs.</p> <p>The P&C Capability Experience Manager owns the end-to-end banker experience across assigned capabilities, defining the future-state vision and multi-year roadmap that connects strategy to execution. Acting as a critical bridge between business, Digital, Technology, and Operations partners, the role drives demand, influences investment decisions, and ensures delivery produces measurable business, operational, and experience outcomes.</p> <p>This role leads complex, cross-functional initiatives, leveraging deep expertise in branch hardware, sales enablement, frontline platforms, and emerging technologies. This person guides business requirements from initial idea to final implementation, champions the needs of bankers, and leverages insights and data to prioritize improvements and optimize performance.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Enterprise Capability & Experience Leadership</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide strategic direction and future vision for banker-facing platforms, tools, and equipment within assigned focus areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Own and continuously evolve the end-to-end banker experience, ensuring consistency, usability, and alignment with business objectives and client service expectations.</p> </li></ul> <p>Strategic Planning & Multi-Year Roadmaps</p> <ul> <li> <p>Translate complex business, frontline, and operational needs into clear, actionable demand for Digital and Technology partners.</p> </li><li> <p>Define, maintain, and govern a 12-36 month capability roadmap, balancing near-term delivery with long-term strategic outcomes.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and assess emerging technologies, industry trends, and internal innovations to inform roadmap evolution.</p> </li></ul> <p>Investment & Value Realization</p> <ul> <li> <p>Serve as a key contributor to funding plans, and investment governance forums.</p> </li><li> <p>Articulate clear value cases for proposed investments, including operational efficiency, experience improvement, risk reduction, and growth impact.</p> </li><li> <p>Define expected outcomes, success metrics, and reporting strategies to measure adoption, benefits realization, and ongoing optimization.</p> </li></ul> <p>Business Line Requirements & Stewardship</p> <ul> <li> <p>Own and steward business requirements from concept through delivery, ensuring solutions reflect frontline workflows, constraints, and priorities.</p> </li><li> <p>Partner closely with delivery teams to guide solution design, trade-off decisions, and sequencing.</p> </li><li> <p>Act as the accountable business voice throughout execution, ensuring delivered capabilities meet intended experience and operational outcomes.</p> </li></ul> <p>Experience Insights, Feedback & Advocacy</p> <ul> <li> <p>Analyze feedback, usage data, defects, and experience insights to identify high-impact gaps and enhancement opportunities.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure banker pain points, friction, and drop-offs meaningfully inform backlog prioritization and roadmap decisions.</p> </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience</p> </li><li> <p>At least 10 years' experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling IT projects.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills/Experience</p> <ul> <li> <p>Deep understanding of frontline banking workflows, operational constraints, and technology enablement including hardware.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of emerging technologies and their application in a branch environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives that result in measurable growth.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams including digital, product, and compliance.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills capable of engaging stakeholders and synthesizing complex information in a manner that influences and drives decisions</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated project management skills with proven ability to drive change through others.</p> </li><li> <p>Considerable tact, diplomacy and people skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Self-Starter: Demonstrated ability to take initiative, become fluent at new tasks quickly, and routinely act with a sense of urgency</p> </li><li> <p>A demonstrated commitment to U.S. Bank's values of integrity, collaboration and respect.</p> </li></ul> <p>If there's anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>Our approach to benefits and total rewards considers our team members' whole selves and what may be needed to thrive in and outside work. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
