Changing and rebuilding the die will consist of squatting, kneeling, pushing and some overhead work while using tools to adjust rolls and cleaning out the die in the event of it getting plugged. Lifting and cutting back in 50 lb. bags of flush pellets. </li><li>Accurate reporting with necessary paperwork. </li><li>Notify Lead Person if any out-of-spec quality conditions exist. </li><li>Once qualified, provide mentoring and training to new colleagues in the Pellet Mill Operator position. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Leadership. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Must be 18 years or older </li><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent </li><li>Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship </li><li>Strong fundamental skills (math, reading, writing and verbal communication) </li><li>Prior experience in a manufacturing environment and/or similar military environment (preferred) </li><li>Ability to act in a professional manner and adhere by ADM's Code of Conduct </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. </li><li>Detailed oriented and self-motivated with a solid work ethic </li><li>Maintain excellent attendance </li><li>Strong safety aptitude </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements and Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Ability to move about on a work site by ascending/descending stairs, extensive walking, climbing steps or ladders, prolonged periods of standing and sitting, stooping, bending, squatting frequently, kneeling, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces </li><li>Ability to operate equipment or machinery that may be located at different heights with open view grating from multiple elevations or in confined spaces </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds overhead </li><li>Ability to traverse two (2) miles or more during the course of a workday </li><li>Ambient conditions - Work area is, typically, a non-air-conditioned production environment. Working in in extreme heat and cold in all seasonal elements, both indoors and outside on a regular basis. </li><li>Atmosphere: May come in contact with Dust (Peanut - known allergen), corn, cotton, canola seed, chemicals, odors, work with known allergens that might be present </li><li>Must be able to work around vibrating equipment and noise levels that may reach or exceed 85 decibels and will require use of hearing protection for most of the work shift </li><li>Employees are required to wear all company provided Personal Protective Equipment (i.e., hard-hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, face masks, gloves when required, uniforms, and steel-toed boots) in addition to job specific PPE requirements (i.e., fall protection equipment and respirators) </li></ul> <p>ADM requires the successful completion of a pre-employment background check</p>
