This position requires knowledge and the ability to research the market value of inventory and maintain a day-to-day operation that is current and profitable.</p> <p>Location: Bergey's Chevrolet- Colmar, PA</p> <p>Essential Duties:</p> <ul> <li></li><li>Maintain vehicle inventory: Inventory should be acquired through different purchasing methods. This should include but is not limited to the following methods: </li><li>Auction in person and online </li><li>Lease purchases, Street purchases </li><li>KBB Buying Center purchases. </li><li>Service Customer purchases </li><li>Trade vehicles. </li><li>Keep Inventory Fresh: Create a best practice to hold aged inventory for a maximum of 30-45 days from the acquisition. Utilize all tools that are provided by dealer that provides data and resources regarding pricing and a faster turnaround time. Maintain inventory with a quick turn rate. </li><li>Manage Lot and Inventory: Ensure that cosmetic and mechanical recondition is performed with the vehicle cost and time limitation. Ensure high standards are held for the condition of vehicle. Plan and control the recondition time to front line. Have a goal from acquisition to front line ready to create a profit center. This goal should be a turn policy of under 5 days. Plan and control display of used vehicles. </li><li>Pricing Inventory: Apply a transparent pricing strategy. Utilize all pricing resources to provide a fair and prudent price. Obtain knowledge regarding market and desirable and less desirable vehicles and price accordingly. Utilize pricing to avoid aged inventory. </li><li>Work one on one with the Used Vehicle Acquisition Manager and follow all directions given regarding the used vehicle department. </li><li>Use DMS to enter inventory and make sure all information in DMS is correct regarding inventory. </li><li>To follow all process and procedures regarding certification program and/or CarBravo. </li><li>Communicate Daily with the New Vehicles Sales Manager to establish and fulfill sales needs. </li><li>Establish relationship with Sales Associates and manage sales team to ensure they are meeting goals. </li><li>Provide information and training on all used inventory. </li><li>Assist Sales Associates with handling customer and issues or concerns regarding inventory and prior purchases. Ensure high standards are held for delivery of vehicles to customers. </li><li>Be a team leader and utilize all Bergey's Behaviors. Empower yourself and others in ways that move the needle forward with Integrity, Kindness, clarity and positivity. </li><li>Appraise all incoming vehicles. Establish a training for all Sales Team with regards to Walk Around Trade Appraisal Forms and ICO. </li><li>Oversee the efforts of the Used-Vehicle Sales Associate to enhance the image and customer satisfaction of the dealership and customer experience. </li><li>Assist and maintain Management of the Sales Floor Activity. This should include but is not limited to greeting the customers, desking deals, closing deals, reviewing, and preparing deals for finance, signing off on deals and assisting with finance when needed. To reinforce all processes and procedures that have been established in the dealership. </li><li>To obtain knowledge and to be able to navigate OEM tools. </li><li>To clearly understand and to be able to use DMS for inventory management, Sales Desking, Loading Deals, and reports. </li><li>Review and utilize CRM (Vin Solutions) for progress of Sale, desking, and all other avenues of this tool. </li><li>Approach all situations with a positive attitude and provide exceptional service to all our customers. </li><li>Attend all manager meetings and continue all training that is required. </li><li>Provide experience, excellent communication, leadership skills and time management to the Sales Team. </li><li>Other tasks as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Valid Driver's License </li><li>Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug test </li></ul> <p>Bergey's is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p>
