<p>Description:You will be the Supplier Quality Field Representative for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control team. Our team is responsible for collaborating with internal quality, engineering, and manufacturing functions and suppliers to ensure quality standards and product requirements are met.</p> <p>What You Will Be Doing:</p> <p>As the Supplier Quality Field Representative, you will be responsible for ensuring supplier contract requirements are implemented and verified, and that quality standards and product requirements are met. You will work closely with suppliers, internal quality, engineering, and manufacturing functions to achieve this goal.</p> <p>Your responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Monitoring quality control activities and systems at supplier facilities and maintaining feedback loops </li><li>Performing surveillance, source inspections, and audits to ensure supplier conformance to company and program requirements </li><li>Conducting supplier risk and capability assessments and monitoring supplier performance </li><li>Providing internal and supplier support for root cause and corrective/preventive actions related to supplier discrepancies </li><li>Ensuring control of supplier nonconforming items, conducting analyses, and monitoring effectiveness of corrective actions at the supplier </li><li>Communicating and interfacing with suppliers, quality program management, engineering, supplier quality management, subcontracts, and government representatives </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us:</p> <p>We're looking for a collaborative and experienced professional to join our team as a Supplier Quality Field Representative. If you're a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about quality and supplier management, we encourage you to apply.</p> <p>Further Information About This Opportunity:</p> <p>This position is in Cincinnati, Ohio.</p> <p>MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.</p> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to obtain a Secret security </li></ul> <p>clearance.</p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive knowledge and experience in </li></ul> <p>Quality processes and procedures, including</p> <p>AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management</p> <p>Systems</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of engineering drawing </li></ul> <p>requirements, Geometric Dimensioning and</p> <p>Tolerancing (GD&T), and mechanical and</p> <p>electrical inspection methods.</p> <ul> <li>Skills and experience with complex machined </li></ul> <p>parts, PWB and circuit card assemblies, IPC J-</p> <p>STD-001 for soldered electrical and electronic</p> <p>assemblies, cable/harness assemblies.</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to identify and document supplier's </li></ul> <p>quality deficiencies and ensure effective</p> <p>corrective actions.</p> <ul> <li>Experience with performing First Article </li></ul> <p>Inspections to AS9102 requirements.</p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive understanding of special </li></ul> <p>processes and an understanding of how to</p> <p>manage and interface with suppliers daily.</p> <ul> <li>Ability to focus on continual improvement </li></ul> <p>practices and increase affordability.</p> <ul> <li>Strong organizational skills and the ability to </li></ul> <p>work in a dynamic environment, including</p> <p>working with suppliers.</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines and </li></ul> <p>support all program supplier quality engineering</p> <p>activities.</p> <ul> <li>Additionally, candidates may be required to work </li></ul> <p>in a manufacturing environment that would</p> <p>require standing and the use the appropriate</p> <p>Personal Protection Equipment (protective</p> <p>footwear, eye /hearing protection, or other</p> <p>protective equipment designed to protect people</p> <p>from workplace hazards).</p> <p>Desired Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Technical degree from an accredited college </li></ul> <p>An understanding of the MFC SAP and P2P</p> <p>business systems.</p> <ul> <li>ASQ Certification, i.e., (1) Certified Quality </li></ul> <p>Engineer (CQE) , (2) Certified Quality Auditor</p> <p>(CQA) and/or (3) Certified Quality Improvement</p> <p>Associate (CQIA)</p> <ul> <li>Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black </li></ul> <p>Belt)</p> <ul> <li>Experience with source inspection, special </li></ul> <p>process surveys, purchase order reviews and</p> <p>surveillance activities at suppliers</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated leadership and customer </li></ul> <p>relationship management skills</p> <p>Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.</p> <p>Clearance Level: Secret</p> <p>Other Important Information You Should Know</p> <p>Expression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
