<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Business Development Director (BDD) is part of ComTec sales organization and leads the creation of partner ecosystem connections and builds impactful relationships. The BDD is expected to develop highly productive reseller and referral partner relationships, while delivering new sales opportunities and partner growth within a geographic territory. A strong understanding of ComTec's technology services to consistently achieve revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have a solid background & knowledge of the Private Equity vertical market and possess a strong network of Private Equity partners. Additional experience in energy expense management is preferred, but not required.</p> <p>On Target Earnings - $250,000 - $300,000</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Take primary responsibility for the execution of building new partnerships. </li><li>Create and deliver qualified opportunities to the ComTec sales team. </li><li>Coordinating training, events, campaigns…on full product portfolio. </li><li>Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. </li><li>Establish connections between our sales team and the partner referral. </li><li>Maintain regular contact with the sales teams to discuss progress and pipeline. Identify gaps or challenges, escalate to leadership. </li><li>Be capable of translating our products into business value for our channel partners. </li><li>Develop strategies with partners that align with their go to market to leverage their customer relationships, grow pipelines and accelerate sales cycles. </li><li>Maintain a detailed understanding of assigned partners' business (growth initiative, strategic focus, investment areas, profitability factors, etc.). </li><li>Maintain daily activities in business management platform, ConnectWise, to track interactions. </li><li>Provide weekly updates to managers on individual activity. </li></ul> <p>Experience & Background</p> <ul> <li>Extensive experience in the Private Equity (PE) ecosystem </li><li>Financial Markets (Banking, Capital Markets) </li><li>Energy Expense Management (Preferred) </li></ul> <p>Competencies</p> <ul> <li>The ability to network, develop and cultivate high level relationships, with a high level of consistency. </li><li>ComTec product knowledge. </li><li>String interpersonal skills, both virtual and in-person </li><li>Host events for partners, dinners, lunch and learns, etc. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Strong listening and sales qualifying skills. </li><li>The ability to travel within the US as needed for the role. </li><li>Strong business acumen. </li><li>Organized & detail oriented, especially in fast-paced, empowered environment. </li><li>General technology background & commitment to learning ComTec products in a detailed manner. </li></ul> <p>EOE</p>
