Ensures compliance with all regulatory agency standards for the section. Responsible for maintaining up to date test procedures, quality control programs, competency evaluation of testing personnel, and resolving technical problems in the section. Acts as a resource to other Laboratory personnel as required. Demonstrates leadership qualities, enforces policies, and communicates appropriately to lab staff.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related coursework, currently certified as a Medical Laboratory Scientist by the ASCP or other nationally recognized accrediting organization, certified as a Technical Specialist in Hematology according to ASCP guidelines, 3-5 years of experience in the field</p> <p>Pay Range: 85,000-95,000$ annually</p> <p>South County Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p>
