<p>Night Custodian</p> <p>2nd Shift 3:00 - 11:30 PM</p> <p>Monday-Friday with potential OT as required.</p> <p>LPS has 2 open positions: 1 position on the Lincoln School campus and 1 position open on the Hanscom AFB campus.</p> <p>Union/benefited Position</p> <p>Salary: $24.15 (Step 1)</p> <p>Lincoln Public Schools is in search of a building custodian to perform routine manual work in connection with the care and maintenance of school buildings and grounds.</p> <p>Duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Clean classrooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, and other areas as needed </li><li>Maintain building supplies for use by students, faculty, and staff </li><li>Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs to equipment and buildings as needed </li><li>Secure buildings at the end of the shift </li><li>Clear snow and ice on campus walkways and grounds </li><li>Set up and breakdown classrooms and meeting rooms as needed </li><li>Report major repair or building operation systems problems to Facilities Manager </li><li>Perform other related duties within the scope of the custodial function as requested by the supervisor </li><li>Perform all work in accordance with safety standards </li><li>Position reports directly to Facilities Manager and Head Custodian </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Completion of high school education or equivalent education and/or experience. </li><li>Minimum of two years relevant experience preferred. </li><li>General knowledge of cleaning materials and methods. </li><li>Ability to perform moderately heavy manual labor, including lift and carry 50 lbs. </li><li>Ability to climb step and extension ladders. </li><li>Some level of mechanical ability preferred. </li></ul> <p>Lincoln, Massachusetts</p> <p>Lincoln is a residential suburb located 12 miles northwest of Boston.
