<p>About Us</p> <p>We specialize in planning, engineering, and building food process plants and cold-storage warehouse and distribution facilities for food processors, distributors, retailers, wholesalers, and more.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Shambaugh & Son L.P. / Food Tech is seeking an Architectural Designer I with experience in the design of industrial and/or commercialfacilities and ideally in the design of food production facilities including knowledge and experience in hygienic design principles, sanitary design, insulated cold storage design, and overall building envelope design.</p> <p>#shambaugh #LI-TS #LI-onsite #foodtech</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Production of Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents. </li><li>Coordinating with structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing disciplines. </li><li>Coordinating with process and packaging equipment drawings. </li><li>Preparing design criteria for bid packages for pricing by subcontractors. </li><li>Performing submittal reviews, RFI responses and field visits </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Arts/Science with a concentration in Architecture or related 4-year degree\ </li><li>5-year Bachelor of Architecture Degree or Master of Architecture a plus. </li><li>Architectural experience in food production a plus. </li><li>Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. </li><li>Proficiency in MS Office suite </li><li>Knowledge of Procore. </li><li>Knowledge of Navisworks. </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Team-oriented, positive attitude. </li><li>Ability to effectively be involved in multiple projects </li><li>Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
