<p>Full Time</p> <p>RESIDENTIAL-KING-60225</p> <p>5300 KidsPeace Drive</p> <p>Direct Client/Patient Care</p> <p>Primarily Evenings with weekends/OT as needed</p> <p>The Mental Health Technician (MHT) provides direct care, direction, and supervision to emotionally and/or behaviorally challenged children and adolescents. The MHT assists in the implementation of individualized treatment plans and focuses on an environment of safety and relationship building.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent is required. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred. </li><li>Valid Driver's License required. </li><li>Must be at least 21 years of age. </li></ul> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise daily routines and responsibilities of our clients and ensure performance of daily self-care tasks, assisting when necessary. </li><li>Ensure a safe and secure environment, acting immediately to remove all dangers or threats to the welfare of our clients. Provide minor First Aid as necessary. </li><li>Provide milieu management through the use of structured programming. </li><li>Facilitate or co-facilitate daily programming activities, transitional meetings, and therapeutic groups. </li><li>Participate in the planning and implementation of individualized treatment plans and schedules. </li><li>Provide transportation, when necessary, to and from school, activities, off-campus appointments and visits, etc. </li><li>Distribute medications as required, ensuring compliance with all medication procedures. </li></ul> <p>KidsPeace is proud to be an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity</p>
