A better career starts here!</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform pre-operative assessments, including phlebotomy and EKG </li><li>Prepare patient charts and ensure accurate retrieval of medical records, forms, and reports. </li><li>Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient needs utilizing the nursing process. </li><li>Actively participates in providing patient care as defined by a multidisciplinary plan of care. </li><li>Provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients with diverse cultural backgrounds as well as varying ages pertinent to their assigned areas. </li><li>Manages and provides patient care activities for a group of patients and their families through the application of independent judgment, communication and collaboration with all team members. </li><li>Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians, other healthcare providers, patients and their families, to achieve desired patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Licensed Registered Nurse in South Carolina required. </li><li>BSN preferred but not required. </li><li>BLS preferred or successful completion of hospital provided BLS course within 90 days from hire date required. </li><li>Minimum of 3 years RN experience </li><li>ADN candidates must be enrolled in BSN program within 18 months of hire date.
