<p>Kforce has a client in Lincoln, RI that is seeking a Lean Process Business Analyst who will identify AI-based opportunities and provide initial business requirements to the AI Center team for analysis and development.</p> <p>Summary: The Lean Process Business Analyst will focus on -pure- business analysis-defining what the business needs in a technology-agnostic way. After gathering the current state, they will document and prioritize requirements in user story format. The Lean Process Business Analyst will collaborate with the Delivery Lead and AI Solution Engineer to shape the product vision and definition of done for AI enhancements. This role involves working with a wide range of stakeholders, from C-level executives to customer service reps. The ideal candidate has 10-15 years of experience engaging across all organizational levels.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Independently lead Lean-focused sessions to analyze current state, business processes, and requirements, including iterative reviews </li><li>Collect baseline metrics to support improvement tracking </li><li>Help define the product vision for AI initiatives and ensure alignment with business goals </li><li>Clearly communicate user challenges and improvement opportunities to the AI team </li><li>Develop a deep understanding of user roles and motivations through thoughtful inquiry </li><li>Create functional user stories in Jira to support the product backlog </li><li>Support testing efforts to ensure solutions meet business needs* College degree required </li><li>Lean, Lean/Six Sigma combination, or Six Sigma yellow, green or black belt certification required </li><li>5-6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst for a software team or in process analysis </li><li>Passion for process analysis, problem solving, and technology </li><li>Innate curiosity and desire to help users maximize their efficiency </li><li>Avid interest in AI and ongoing AI advancements with passion for technology and ways in which technology can solve business problems </li><li>Ability to get to the root of a problem through asking repeated questions </li><li>Love of working with a variety of users across multiple business areas </li><li>Ability to help others identify their true business needs and prioritize them (not simply take their -orders-) </li><li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (technical writing background is a nice to have) with ability to effectively communicate current state and business requirements without solutioning </li><li>Exceptional facilitation skills to engage clients and make the analysis process a great experience </li><li>-Eagle-eye- attention to detail </li><li>Willingness to support other functional areas, such as testing, when needed </li><li>Expertise in the following tools: Jira, Confluence, LucidChart, Teams </li><li>Nice to have: MS 365 Copilot and Salesforce </li><li>Nice to have: Call Center process improvement </li></ul>
