<p>Position Summary</p> <p>This position independently directs and administers the Bureau of Offender Classification and Movement, including the initial reception and classification process and the ongoing reclassification of offenders. This includes the classification and movement of all offenders incarcerated in facilities managed by the Division of Adult Institutions, including the Wisconsin Resource Center, and placed into field supervision. This position authorizes the placement and movement of Persons in our Cares in contract facilities (i.e., Federal Bureau of Prisons and county jails) and represents the State of Wisconsin in the selection, placement and ongoing reclassification of Persons in our Cares in such facilities. The position is responsible for maintaining the linkages and relationships between the Division of Adult Institutions, Division of Community Corrections and the Parole Commission. The position represents the office to outside organizations both public and private.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>This position is in pay schedule and range 81-01 with a starting annual salary of $114379 to $124550. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire.
