The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, covered and uncovered manufacturing facility.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation by auditing, recording and interpreting shipping documentation, weights & measures, labels and production schedules</p> </li><li> <p>A Scale Operator is required for operating the weigh scales and maintaining the shipping, receiving, and related production records</p> </li><li> <p>Review for accuracy and process receiving of Raw Material</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare delivery tickets and related shipping documents</p> </li><li> <p>Check and review all orders assigned before they are shipped against delivery tickets</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with truck drivers to ensure delivery date/times are accurate, D.O.T. compliance with load weight and secure loads are met</p> </li><li> <p>Accurate record keeping of each truck entering/leaving the site as well as the weight of all materials entering/leaving the site</p> </li><li> <p>The position uses computers, spreadsheets, and databases</p> </li><li> <p>Strong information storage and filing skills are required</p> </li><li> <p>Some work may include analyzing data and making various computations</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with scale operation and with shipping is an asset</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare invoices, delivery tickets, and related shipping documents</p> </li><li> <p>Experienced accurate data entry and document handling - Categorizing, filing, and maintaining ship ticket copies for audit purposes and file all customer records</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate deliveries with trucks and customers to ensure delivery time accuracy</p> </li><li> <p>Plan and schedule effective delivery routes and work with trucks to cover loads efficiently</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed</p> </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience in related function</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum one to three years of related experience</p> </li><li> <p>Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook</p> </li><li> <p>Mathematical and communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>May require occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.</p> </li><li> <p>Walking and standing for long periods of time</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to climb flights of stairs throughout the day</p> </li></ul> <p>What CRH Offers You</p> <ul> <li>Highly competitive base pay </li><li>Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs </li><li>Group retirement savings program </li><li>Health and wellness programs </li><li>An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion </li></ul> <p>About CRH</p> <p>CRH has a long and proud heritage.
