<p>Position Title: Fundraising Manager</p> <p>FLSA Classification: Exempt</p> <p>EEOC Classification: Professional</p> <p>Location: Central Office</p> <p>Position Type: Full Time</p> <p>Reports to:Chief Community Impact Officer</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>The Fundraising Manager leads projects and builds strong donor relationships across various sectors. Responsible for engaging with prospective and existing donors, collaborating with internal and external teams, and developing customized strategies to meet and exceed fundraising goals.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Proactively executing annual fund and mid-level giving </li><li>Assisting the Chief Community Impact Officer with reviewing existing portfolios to craft fundraising engagement plans and prospect prioritization </li><li>Advance consistent stewardship among major gift donors </li><li>Lead event strategy and execution </li><li>Complies with and adheres to department and NSO policies and procedures. </li><li>Adheres to established quality and performance improvement standards. </li><li>Works effectively with others to accomplish goals/resolve problems. </li><li>Organizes work well and uses time effectively. </li><li>Maintains consistent work attendance. </li><li>Maintains good operating environment by attending work on time as scheduled. </li><li>Professionally represents NSO and promotes NSO mission and vision statements. </li><li>Promotes a harmonious work environment. </li><li>Demonstrates expertise in his/her functional area, leveraging unique core of knowledge and skills to achieve results. </li><li>Ensures consumer satisfaction through process of monitoring, improving, and delivering excellence in program services. </li><li>Is open to new approaches and takes steps to increase knowledge, skills and abilities, both from within and outside NSO. </li><li>Complies with contractual and regulatory requirements, as needed. </li><li>Fosters commitment, team spirit, pride and trust. </li><li>Possesses good work ethic, drive, energy, and persistence to achieve goals. Takes accountability for job responsibilities. </li><li>Able to anticipate and bring about change when needed. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Candidate Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>3-5 years of fundraising experience, or a combination of fundraising, sales and marketing experience in the nonprofit sector </li><li>Demonstrated success managing and growing annual campaigns and major-gifts and planned giving fundraisers </li><li>Strong verbal and written communications skills and demonstrated ability to effectively engage a wide range of stakeholder </li><li>Bachelor's degree in public relations, fundraising, or any related field (Master's degree preferred) </li></ul> <p>Neighborhood Service Organization is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in its workforce.
