The role involves utilizing SolidWorks to build 3D models from 2D prints.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Understand and interpret blueprints accurately. </li><li>Create and modify existing drawings for lock components. </li><li>Utilize SolidWorks to build 3D models from 2D prints. </li><li>Collaborate with the design team to ensure product design meets company standards. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in mechanical design. </li><li>Expertise in using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. </li><li>Strong blueprint reading skills. </li><li>Experience in mechanical and product design. </li><li>7+ years of experience in product design. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Preferred experience in FMEA analysis. </li><li>Knowledge of materials, including metals and plastics. </li><li>Experience in CAD and tool design. </li><li>Design engineering skills. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. You will work in an office environment as part of the design team.
