This, along with our remarkable culture of belonging, weekly devotionals, and endless opportunities for learning and growth-all situated within a beautiful and historic campus-make it hard to imagine a more inspiring place to work.</p> <p>Brigham Young University strongly prefers to hire faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.</p> <p>Accreditation Coordinator (CE)</p> <p>The Accreditation Coordinator supports the mission of BYU Continuing Education by coordinating and maintaining BYU High School Online Learning Educational Services Agency's (ESA) accreditation activities with Cognia, the Middle States Association (MSA), and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). This position provides operational and administrative coordination of accreditation processes, including accreditation reviews, institutional communications, meeting and site-visit preparation, and accreditation documentation and reporting. The Accreditation Coordinator collaborates with ESA leadership, faculty, staff, and Continuing Education partners to support compliance, institutional effectiveness, and continuous improvement and student success.</p> <p>Note: This is a part-time position (28) hours per week.</p> <p>What you'll do in this position:</p> <p>Accreditation Coordination & Liaison</p> <ul> <li>Serve as primary contact for Cognia, MSA, and WASC accreditation </li><li>Coordinate accreditation processes (self-studies, reports, renewals, follow-ups) </li><li>Prepare and support accreditation reviews and site visits </li></ul> <p>Documentation & Evidence Stewardship</p> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate, organized documentation aligned with standards and internal policies </li><li>Coordinate collection and alignment of evidence across internal units </li><li>Ensure consistent and efficient documentation practices </li></ul> <p>Collaboration & Communication</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with leadership, faculty, staff, and partners to gather data </li><li>Clearly communicate accreditation requirements and timelines </li><li>Support leadership in responding to accreditor feedback and completing compliance actions </li></ul> <p>Compliance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement</p> <ul> <li>Monitor compliance and identify risks or gaps </li><li>Track action items and ensure timely completion </li><li>Promote continuous improvement and accreditation readiness </li></ul> <p>Administrative Support & Student Supervision</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and support 1-2 student employees </li><li>Assign tasks, provide training, and review work quality </li><li>Coordinate schedules and provide performance feedback </li></ul> <p>What qualifies you for this role:</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>A firm commitment to the mission of BYU. </li><li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; and </li><li>2-3 years of relevant experience in K-12 education, accreditation, compliance, institutional effectiveness, or a related administrative or coordination role. </li><li>Strong organizational, project coordination, and deadline management skills with high attention to detail. </li><li>Excellent written and professional communication skills, including accreditation-quality documentation and collaboration with stakeholders. </li><li>Ability to interpret accreditation/compliance standards, identify risks or gaps, and apply processes effectively with minimal supervision. </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in education, educational leadership, administration, policy, or a related field. </li><li>4-6 years of progressively responsible experience in accreditation, compliance, or education administration. </li><li>Direct experience supporting accreditation processes (e.g., self-studies, site visits, annual or interim reporting). </li><li>Current Utah state K-12 educator or administrator license. </li></ul> <p>What we offer in return:</p> <p>This position comes with fantastic benefits, including:</p> <ul> <li>401k.
