Assist employees with benefit elections and changes. Possess thorough knowledge of organization's human resources policies and procedures.</p> <p>University Human Resource Management currently supports a hybrid work schedule. The Human Resources Representative will be required to work one week at the front desk in our Human Resources office located in downtown Salt Lake City every 4 weeks. The remaining weeks the employee will work one day in the office and then from home. Assist employees with benefit elections and changes. Possess thorough knowledge of organization's human resources policies and procedures. Performs routine tasks as directed and under close supervision.</p> <p>Requires little to no related experience.</p> <p>Human Resources Service Center Representative, I - Department Specific Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Respond to Human Resources Inquiries: Provide initial support for employee questions on Human Resource policies, benefits, and procedures via phone and internet. </li><li>Assist with Benefits: Help employees with benefit selections and changes, ensuring they understand their options. </li><li>Learn Human Resources Policies: Actively engage in learning organizational Human Resource policies and procedures to accurately assist employees. </li><li>Perform Administrative Tasks: Execute routine administrative duties such as data entry and maintaining employee records. </li><li>Support Human Resource Initiatives: Participate in Human Resource projects and initiatives as directed, providing logistical support. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience)</p> <p>Human Resources Service Center Representative, I: Requires little to no related experience.</p> <p>Preferences</p> <ul> <li>Experience working in a call center or a high-volume customer service role </li><li>Strong active listening and verbal/written communication skills </li><li>Ability to multitask and manage time effectively </li><li>Comfortable with conflict resolution with the ability to deescalate </li></ul> <p>Type Benefited Staff Special Instructions Summary Additional Information</p> <p>The University is a participating employer with Utah Retirement Systems ("URS").
