<p>R10071873 Plant Operator (Filler) (Open)</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Plumsteadville, PA (SGHCLS) - Healthcare - Industrial spec gas</p> <p>How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?</p> <p>The Plant Operator 1 is responsible for filling specialty products into liquefied gas cylinders in compliance with state, federal, and local regulations. The associate is expected to meet all Airgas safety standards, while filling, handling, storing, loading and unloading cylinders. Responsible for remaining productive during their work shift, while also supporting the product quality standards set forth by Airgas. A Plant Operator 1 displays knowledge of pure gas filling process, product purification techniques, and ability to troubleshoot production issues; regularly inspects cylinder fill equipment and performs minor maintenance as needed.</p> <p>In particular, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Learn and understand hazards of various gases, size and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks. </li><li>Accurately label cylinders and boxes. </li><li>Comply with Training, safety programs, OSHA, and all related rules, regulations, procedures which are applicable to this position's responsibilities. </li><li>Movement of cylinders as required in the plant.
