<p>We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Manager to lead and elevate upholstery production-from planning and execution to delivery-while inspiring a collaborative and motivated team. You'll oversee workflow scheduling, resource allocation (including fabrics, foam, trims, and hardware), and staff development, all while anticipating and resolving production challenges. As a hands-on people leader, you'll hire, train, coach, and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and quality. We're always looking for talented people to join our team and grow together.</p> <p>What We Offer</p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans </li><li>401(k) with match after 12 months </li><li>Employee Assistance Program and Chaplain Services for emotional and mental well-being </li><li>Paid sick leave, vacation, holidays, and parental leave </li><li>Monthly incentive and bonus opportunities </li><li>Generous discounts on our exceptional products </li></ul> <p>What You Do</p> <ul> <li>Supervises and coordinates production activities, including processes, methods, and products. </li><li>Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process, setting processing variables, observing control points, and equipment. </li><li>Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow of shift production summaries. </li><li>Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. </li><li>Ensures the operation of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment, and techniques. </li><li>Provides information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, answers questions, and responds to requests. </li><li>Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements, and implementing change. </li><li>Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. </li><li>Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines. </li><li>Maintains and coordinates all reports on time, attendance, quality, safety, and production levels for the production floor. </li><li>Communicates and coordinates with scheduling and raw material purchasing to ensure the successful completion of all schedules on time. </li><li>Leverages leadership and interpersonal skills to create a team environment where cooperation and collaboration are the norm. </li><li>Creates an efficient operation to ensure that expectations on standard cost per unit are met or exceeded, and that expectations on budgeting expenses are met or exceeded. </li><li>Trains employees in work methods and procedures, communicates job expectations, plans, monitors, and appraises job results, coaches, and counsels employees. </li></ul> <p>What You Bring</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. </li><li>ISO 9000 Quality Management experience preferred. </li><li>Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma process experience preferred. </li><li>Three to five years' experience in a production or manufacturing environment with progressive responsibility. </li><li>Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required. </li><li>Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. </li><li>Demonstrated leadership, teambuilding, and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling processes required. </li></ul>
