<p>Job Title: Mechanical Engineer</p> <p>Join a dynamic team where you will play a key role in designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions. This position involves working closely with sales, customers, and various internal departments to ensure the successful delivery of high-demand products.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Review and evaluate sales order requirements and specifications to configure and develop solutions. </li><li>Collaborate with Sales and customers to clarify requirements and address concerns. </li><li>Work with Electrical Engineers and Drafting teams to produce customer drawings. </li><li>Act as the technical lead on assigned projects. </li><li>Coordinate with Assembly, Procurement, and field technicians to resolve startup issues. </li><li>Approve project releases to Manufacturing. </li><li>Collaborate with Assembly and Test departments to address issues during build and test phases. </li><li>Work as part of a project team to deliver cost-effective, manufacturable designs. </li><li>Provide updates on project status and timelines. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. </li><li>5+ years of experience in designing and developing electromechanical equipment, designing sheet metal products, and using 2D and 3D CAD software (preferably Creo). </li><li>Experience with OEM design activities and bill of materials (BOMs). </li><li>Knowledge of casting, compressors, pumps, and/or motors. </li><li>Project management experience. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with electrical testing and noise attenuation (fan silencers). </li><li>Customer experience and FEA and CFD experience. </li><li>Understanding of seismic, wind, and vibration calculations. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>You will work in a recently opened office near the manufacturing facility. The team consists of over ten engineers, and you will spend 90% of your time at a desk and 10% on the floor. Projects are highly customizable, with average tenures ranging from 6 months to 2 years. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing company with high-demand products.</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, OH.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $58.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
