<p>Under the direction of the Practice Manager and medical provider, and in accordance with approved policies and procedures, provides quality care in an effort to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes.</p> <p>naEDUCATION:</p> <p>Minimum:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate from an accredited school of Practical Nursing </li></ul> <p>LICENSE:</p> <p>Minimum:</p> <ul> <li>Current NYS LPN license </li></ul> <p>PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Minimum:</p> <ul> <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through RQI; must obtain within 90 days of hire. </li><li>Completion of NYS approved course for x-ray in podiatry within six months in this position (NYS Podiatry Radiology Course for Unlicensed Persons (nysed.gov) or Radiology Course For Podiatric (unlicensed) Assistants (nyspma.org) </li></ul> <p>WORK EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>Minimum:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 1 year LPN experience. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in podiatry practice. </li></ul> <p>SKILLS:</p> <p>Minimum:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner. </li><li>Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills. </li><li>Computer literacy. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical record </li></ul>
