Come join the DMVA team, apply today!</p> <p>DESCRIPTION OF WORK</p> <p>As an Adaptive Equipment Technician, you will perform work in the fabrication, assembly, repair, and maintenance of resident assistive devices. Your duties will include selecting proper materials and using appropriate hand and power tools to complete a variety of skilled tasks in the construction, modification, and repair of this equipment. In this position, you will fashion and assemble parts for special assistive and therapeutic devices adapted to meet individual resident needs. You can expect to repair adaptive equipment, as well as provide nursing and physical therapy staff with all applicable equipment. Additionally, you will work with other departments to complete work orders and notify the supervisor if any problems are encountered while completing work orders.</p> <p>Interested in learning more?
