<ul> <li>Model the YMCA character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility through your actions and conversation with members </li><li>Engage in active listening with potential members to develop sustainable relationships, determine individual goals and interests </li><li>Greet, Interview and tour future members </li><li>Create outbound calls and emails to generate future members to tour center </li><li>Follow up on membership inquiries </li><li>Responsible for tracking and reporting on all tours that result in membership </li><li>Responsible for follow up of all non-joins within specified time </li><li>Process all memberships via membership software systems and ensure all processes are followed </li><li>Schedule all new members for their MYFITness Appointment </li><li>Connect members to specific programs and services; process program registration with the intent to increase member utilization of other services as needed </li><li>Prospects all non-member program users </li><li>Track and provide sales, terms, recovery and MYFITness enrollment updates monthly to supervisor </li><li>Track and provide number of "quality" conversations, program enrollments, MYFITness enrollments </li><li>Review and assist with the actualizing of member satisfaction surveys and suggestion feedback </li><li>Implements, distributes and communicates all membership marketing campaigns and any sales related promotions </li><li>Assist with center and association member appreciation and recognition event(s) and program(s) </li><li>Educate Members on our not-for-profit mission and increase participation in our Y's Annual Giving Campaign and Volunteer Opportunities </li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>The YMCA Welcomes a Diverse Workforce</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V</p> <p>The Gateway Region YMCA strictly follows a zero tolerance policy regarding child abuse.</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 18 years of age </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required </li><li>Previous sales experience preferred </li><li>Passion, enthusiasm, and commitment to the mission and cause of the YMCA </li><li>An enthusiastic personality with the desire to serve members, volunteers, guests, participants and staff to create a culture of service within our Centers </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community </li><li>A team player who can develop harmonious relationships with staff, members, guests and volunteers </li><li>Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office and internet usage) </li><li>Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills </li><li>Superior conflict resolution skills, sound judgment, initiative and independent thinking </li></ul> <p>Full Compensation Package (when applicable):</p> <ul> <li>403(b) Retirement Savings </li><li>Retirement fund of 12% per pay period after completing 1,000 hours of service during any two 12-month period. </li><li>20% Discount on tuition at Missouri Baptist University </li><li>Free individual membership to YMCA nationwide </li><li>Discounts on YMCA programs </li><li>Discounts on YMCA Childcare </li></ul>
