Please note that only qualified candidates will be contacted.</p> <p>Position: Project Analyst</p> <p>Location: Miramar, FL</p> <p>Duration : 6 month contract with potential extension</p> <p>Rate Range : $30-40/hr</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Mission Control Reporting Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and delivering portfolio-level reporting and insights that support informed decision-making across complex programs. This role focuses on financial, delivery, risk, and performance reporting across New Build, Dry Dock, and Destination portfolios.</p> <p>The position supports portfolio governance by ensuring accurate, timely, and standardized reporting that enables leadership to manage risk, optimize investments, and ensure consistent execution across programs.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Portfolio Reporting & Analytics</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain standardized portfolio dashboards, reports, and executive summaries </li><li>Produce monthly portfolio status reports aligned to established governance cadence </li><li>Consolidate and validate data from multiple workstreams to ensure accuracy and consistency </li><li>Support annual portfolio reviews, including performance summaries and savings categorization </li></ul> <p>Financial & Resource Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Support portfolio-level financial planning, forecasting, and analysis </li><li>Provide visibility into financial performance, resource allocation, and investment priorities </li><li>Ensure reporting supports audit-ready financial processes and documentation standards </li></ul> <p>Data Management & Tools</p> <ul> <li>Maintain portfolio reporting tools and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Excel-based reporting) </li><li>Ensure data integrity, quality, and alignment across systems and reporting sources </li><li>Support reporting-related SharePoint sites, lists, trackers, and permissions as needed </li></ul> <p>Governance, Risk & Decision Support</p> <ul> <li>Support portfolio-level change, risk, and dependency reporting </li><li>Provide early visibility into financial, delivery, and resource risks </li><li>Track executive decisions, actions, and escalations to support transparency and follow-through </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Partner with Program, Project, Finance, and Leadership teams to support reporting needs </li><li>Collect and consolidate weekly and monthly inputs from portfolio stakeholders </li><li>Translate complex data into clear, concise insights for executive and senior leadership audiences </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience </li><li>Experience in portfolio, program, or project reporting and analytics </li><li>Strong analytical and financial acumen with high attention to detail </li><li>Proficiency in reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel) </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience supporting large, multi-workstream programs or portfolios </li><li>Familiarity with portfolio governance frameworks and financial reporting processes </li><li>Experience supporting transformation, long-range planning, or enterprise initiatives </li><li>Experience working in a regulated or audit-aware environment </li></ul> <p>Key Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Data-driven decision support </li><li>Stakeholder collaboration </li><li>Process discipline and standardization </li><li>Executive-level communication </li><li>Continuous improvement mindset </li><li>Please note that as a contract employee of Apex Systems, benefits include the below with employee contribution* </li><li>Health </li><li>Dental </li><li>Vision </li><li>Life Insurance; Short Term Disability </li><li>Hospitalization Coverage </li><li>Direct Deposit </li><li>Weekly Pay Periods </li><li>Training and Development Programs </li><li>401k </li><li>Referral Program </li></ul> <p>Apex Systems is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
