This pool will be accessed only when an opening arises.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Adjunct faculty will be responsible for teaching classes in the Department of Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Insurance or Real Estate or a closely related discipline at the time the appointment begins for Undergraduate Class Teaching</p> </li><li> <p>Master's degree in Finance, Insurance or Real Estate or a closely related discipline at the time the appointment begins for Graduate Class Teaching</p> </li><li> <p>3+ years of experience in finance and/or a related industry</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as an employee at VCU.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>PhD in Finance, Insurance, or Real Estate or a closely related discipline at the time the appointment begins</p> </li><li> <p>Prior teaching experience</p> </li></ul> <p>The Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate Department is committed to the growth and professional development of its team members and will provide opportunities to foster a culture of learning and career development.</p> <p>Virginia Commonwealth University is an equal opportunity employer.</p> <p>Salary Range: $6,900 per 3 credits taught</p> <p>FLSA Exemption Status: Exempt</p> <p>Rank: Instructor</p>
