These values are the cornerstone of Plastic Ingenuity.</p> <p>Role Summary:</p> <p>At PI our Machine Technicians are ultimately charged with the ongoing and consistent operations of the machinery and equipment. Those in this role are responsible for machine set-up, repair, maintenance, and ongoing machine operations. Machine Technicians have a complex role and are a crucial part of the production team, as they need to troubleshoot and solve unpredictable situations as they arise. They are the first line of defense and provide ongoing insight and expertise to help prevent issues in the future.</p> <p>Accountable for:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in ensuring that the output of our process is a quality part </li><li>Review part quality with Inspector Packers to learn if part is within acceptable standards </li><li>Adjust machine settings as necessary to ensure parts are within acceptable standards </li><li>Receive ongoing training in machine set up and operation </li><li>Perform duties of inspector packer when required </li><li>Follow good manufacturing practices to ensure product safety </li><li>Complete production records as needed </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>This job requires a high school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Ability to read and understand written instructions </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school education or equivalent </li><li>Previous manufacturing experience </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Desire for continual learning and personal development </li><li>Mechanical aptitude </li><li>Proficient in English </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Frequent lifting of 15-25 lbs/Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs/More than 50 lbs requires a team lift </li><li>Frequent repetitious tasks with upper extremities </li><li>Prolonged periods of standing on concrete floor </li><li>Ability to correctly wear/use personal protective equipment including long sleeves as required </li><li>Frequent climbing steps and/or ladders while working on elevated platforms </li><li>Work involves exposure to high temperatures </li></ul> <p>2nd Shift Mon - Fri 2:15 PM - 10:30 PM</p> <p>Plastic Ingenuity is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
