Working closely with an experienced Operational Excellence Department and cross-functional teams including Process Engineers, Reliability Engineers, and Production Management, the intern will gain hands-on experience in data analysis, visualization, and using data to drive insights and decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious student to develop their data analytics abilities in a corporate setting.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with data collection, cleaning, and preparation tasks </li><li>Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies </li><li>Create data visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards) to present findings </li><li>Support the development of reports, presentations, and other data-driven deliverables </li><li>Collaborate with colleagues from multiple countries. </li><li>Participate in site meetings and learning opportunities </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU OFFER</p> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Current enrollment in a bachelor's program in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, etc. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Completion of sophomore year </li><li>Background or interest in chemical, manufacturing, or related industries </li><li>Familiarity with programming languages SQL </li><li>Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) </li><li>Familiarity with lean methodologies </li></ul> <p>Knowledge and Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Strong academic performance with coursework in statistics, programming, and databases </li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities </li><li>Good communication and collaboration skills </li><li>Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn </li></ul> <p>This internship provides valuable exposure to the data analysis lifecycle and how to transform data into actionable insights within a corporate environment.
