The Comcast internship/co-op program will help you cultivate meaningful relationships, develop strong interpersonal and business skills, gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a Fortune 40 media and technology company, and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network.</p> <p>This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast's top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.</p> <p>Organization & Team Overview</p> <p>Our PAR (Payment Acceptance and Risk) team is responsible for digital payments in the Core Cable space of our organization. This business unit is responsible for over 3 billion dollars in payments per month and we as a team track metrics related to these payments daily. The team also coordinates with technical and customer experience teams to ensure the performance of payments is as expected. On our Trust and Safety (Risk) side of the team efforts and projects are enacted to support fraud prevention within the payment flows we oversee to protect our customers and the business. A key part of our team are the project managers who support PAR interests within overall initiatives and manage PAR-led initiatives with the overarching goal of improving payment performance.</p> <p>Role Description</p> <p>As a Payment Analyst Co-op on the PAR team, you will analyze and evaluate customer payments performance metrics and resources to support the Company's operational plans. Dive deep into payment data to understand not only the "what," but the "so what," and "what next."</p> <p>What are some interesting problems the student will work on?</p> <p>In your role, you will bridge the gap between technical and the business but within the business umbrella. One of the most interesting problems that are faced in this role is that the data availability is fairly new so there are seemingly limitless opportunities to analyze and measure new dimensions.</p> <p>Where can this student make an impact?</p> <p>You'll be working with payment experts who can guide analysis by proposing questions and initiatives. You will work closely with analysts on our team and together will analyze the opportunities and provide business feedback with the goal of providing data to drive decisioning.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Creates and maintains multiple operational reporting tools. </li><li>Provides analytical support and feasibility of proposed business strategies. </li><li>Provides user feedback to management and helps influence future systems enhancements. </li><li>May prepare reports to be used by other departments to correct payments / billing issues. </li><li>Identifies issues, analyzes available data and information. </li><li>Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills</p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience with data analysis techniques: statistical significance testing and correlations analysis. </li><li>Applied expertise with quantitative and qualitative research methods. </li><li>Preferred Majors: Data Science & Analytics, Accounting </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track. </li><li>Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting September 22, 2025, through March 27, 2026. </li><li>Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs </li><li>Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting </li><li>Comcast is an Affirmative Action/EEO employer M/F/D/V </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <p>Accountability, Communication, Professional Etiquette, Relationship Building, Resilience, Teamwork</p> <p>Compensation</p> <p>Base Pay: $25.00</p> <p>Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
