Our products and services directly impact the critical environments that advance medical breakthroughs, keep industry moving, and ensure the safety of products we use every day.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Cash Application/Accounts Receivable Representative II is responsible for ensuring all incoming payments are accurately recorded, reconciled, and managed to maintain the integrity of financial records while maintaining compliance with internal policies. The representative will also assist with collections efforts and departmental AR reconciliation projects.</p> <p>Duties/Responsibilities</p> <p>Accounts Payable Tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Process invoices and expense reports, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained. </li><li>Verify the accuracy of invoices against purchase orders and receipts. </li><li>Assist in preparing payment batches and ensuring timely vendor payments. </li><li>Resolve discrepancies by communicating with vendors and internal departments. </li></ul> <p>Accounts Receivable Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and send invoices to customers promptly, ensuring accuracy in billing. </li><li>Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts, working to resolve payment issues. </li><li>Record and process customer payments accurately, including checks and electronic transfers. </li><li>Maintain customer account records and reconcile discrepancies as needed. </li></ul> <p>Financial Reporting:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in generating monthly financial reports related to accounts payable and receivable. </li><li>Contribute to the maintenance of accurate financial records in accordance with company policy. </li><li>Provide data for accounts receivable aging reports and assist in analysis of outstanding invoices. </li></ul> <p>Compliance and Documentation:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls in all transactions. </li><li>Maintain organized documentation for audit purposes and internal reviews. </li><li>Assist in preparing materials for audits related to accounts payable and receivable. </li></ul> <p>Team Collaboration:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with team members to improve processes and workflows within the finance department. </li><li>Act as a point of contact for inquiries related to accounts payable and receivable, providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. </li></ul> <p>Continuous Improvement:</p> <ul> <li>Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in accounts payable and receivable processes. </li><li>Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations. </li></ul> <p>Experience/Education</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in Accounting/Finance. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge & Skillsets Required</p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Excellent attention to details and accuracy. </li><li>Ability to manage multiply priorities. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholder. </li></ul> <p>Mesa Labs is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.</p> <p>Mesa Labs prohibits unlawful discrimination and harassment against applicants or employees based on age, race, sex, color, religion, creed, national origin or ancestry, disability, military status, sexual orientation, or any other status protected by applicable state or local law.
