<p>Roadway Design Engineer - Entry-Level</p> <p>Department: Transportation</p> <p>Employment Type: Full Time</p> <p>Location: Baton Rouge, LA</p> <p>Reporting To: Robbie Lear</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is hiring an Entry Level Roadway Design Engineer for our Baton Rouge, LA office to work on a variety of Transportation projects throughout Louisiana.</p> <p>Your Primary Responsibilities will include</p> <ul> <li>Performs engineering analysis and design (2D and 3D) for roadways, intersections and related infrastructure, including new construction and rehabilitation. </li><li>Prepares construction plans, specifications, and contract documents for contracting and bidding of construction projects. </li><li>Performs analysis and design of stormwater management facilities for roadway drainage. </li><li>Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects. </li><li>Maintains and documents written and verbal communications with clients throughout the development and completion of a project. </li><li>Prepares engineering studies and reports. </li><li>Prepares project design using sound engineering principles, engineering software and tools. </li></ul> <p>What you'll need</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required. </li><li>Passing of the Fundamentals test is preferred </li><li>Engineering analysis in 2D and 3D. </li><li>Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Projects </li></ul> <p>Why Join Our Team</p> <p>We know work isn't only about what you do, it's also about who you work for and with!
