<p>Under the direction of the Product Manager, the Product Analyst II (Data/Digital) will assist with the design, implementation, and ongoing management of digital & data products and services to transform the experiences of patients, families, and staff combined. The Product Analyst II (Data/Digital) will work closely with the various enterprise stakeholders of Keck Medicine of USC to articulate business requirements, build user stories, and identify the value proposition(s). The Product Analyst II (Data/Digital) will conduct market research to understand industry problems and find innovative solutions, as well as aid in evangelizing digital & data product offerings to the business stakeholders to continually develop and expand the product roadmap.</p> <p>Essential Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Customer Service: Resolves customer questions and complaints, communicates with customers, handles services problems and tickets politely and efficiently, always available for customers, follows procedures, utilizes problem solving skills, maintains pleasant and professional image. Customers may include both internal department users, vendors, and peers within IS. </li><li>Solution Design and Development: Analyzes events, documentation, requirements and needs to design and develop solutions to solve problems and/or meet organization's needs. Responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, apps, and forms from layout to function and according to a client's specifications. Strives to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. </li><li>Performance Improvement/Transformation/Innovation: Demonstrates an ongoing understanding of and actively participates in performance improvement activities, identifies, and proactively pursues business transformation, uses innovation to enhance/solve current system and business workflow problems. Acts as a subject matter expert for department functions in relationship to implementing and managing responsible systems. </li><li>Technical Skills and Industry Knowledge: Familiar with multiple application systems/business functions with working knowledge of selected systems/functions. Working knowledge of industry best practices, conventions, and regulations. Limited programming and/or integration expertise with ability to work on moderately complex assignments. </li><li>Teamwork and Project Management: Leads work efforts. Uses planning skills to manage and complete work efforts on time and on budget. </li><li>Reports & Analytics: Ability to generate both standard and ad hoc reports. Ability to design and assist in developing non-standard/custom reports as required. </li><li>Training: Responsible for working with customer and/or vendors with training on new systems being implemented and rolled out for use in the departments. Responsible for assisting in training new staff members on applicable systems/applications. </li><li>Other Duties and On-Call: Ability to fulfill On-Call requirements and other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Req Bachelor's degree </li><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. </li><li>Req 2 years Experience in product/business analysis. </li><li>Req Experience working with users to capture requirements and develop workflow diagrams that translate to application builds. </li><li>Req Experience analyzing and recommending appropriate technical solutions to support the overall enterprise (including market research). </li><li>Req Experience developing broader awareness of optimal use of solutions and maintain relationships with enterprise leaders (including but not limited to clinical, business, and research areas) to support data-driven decision making. </li><li>Req Experience with Agile Project Management methodologies. </li><li>Req Experience managing multiple priorities and operate in a fast paced, ambiguous, and complex environment with autonomy. </li><li>Req Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio. </li><li>Req Excellent critical thinking problem solving skills. </li><li>Req Exceptional organization and time management skills. </li><li>Req Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent presentation skills and the ability to adapt to differing audiences. </li><li>Req Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with coworkers, management, and vendors. </li><li>Req Ability to self-initiate, work independently and in teams, self-manage and learn independently with discernment of when to escalate and seek guidance. </li><li>Req Organized and detail-oriented. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Pref Healthcare IS experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Required Licenses/Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>Req Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only) </li></ul> <p>The hourly rate range for this position is $46.00 - $76.07.
