<p>Behavioral Health Program Supervisor - Waterbury Clinic</p> <p>Location: Waterbury, Connecticut</p> <p>Job Type: Full-Time</p> <p>Reports To: Clinical Director</p> <p>About the Clinic</p> <p>We are a small, community-based behavioral health clinic located in Waterbury, CT. Our mission is to provide compassionate, culturally responsive mental health and substance use treatment services, to a primarily Spanish-speaking population. We are dedicated to fostering healing and recovery in an accessible and welcoming environment.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Behavioral Health Program Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the Waterbury clinic. This role includes supervision of clinical staff, coordination of DMHAS-funded programs, budget and grant oversight, and maintaining a small clinical caseload. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish) and have strong experience in behavioral health leadership and community-based care.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and support clinical and administrative staff </li><li>Apply measurement-based care strategies to monitor client progress and improve treatment outcomes </li><li>Utilize evidence-based practices in the delivery and supervision of mental health and substance use treatment </li><li>Oversee DMHAS-funded mental health and substance use programs </li><li>Monitor compliance with program standards, quality metrics, and licensing requirements </li><li>Assist with budget tracking, grant reporting, and program development </li><li>Provide clinical oversight, consultation, and crisis support </li><li>Maintain a small caseload </li><li>Promote a trauma-informed, culturally competent, recovery-oriented environment </li><li>Support community engagement and collaborative partnerships </li><li>Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation </li><li>Other tasks as developed with leadership </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field </li><li>Active Connecticut license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) </li><li>Minimum 3 years of behavioral health experience, including 1+ year in a supervisory role </li><li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred </li><li>Experience managing DMHAS-funded programs </li><li>Familiarity with budget and grant administration </li><li>Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills </li><li>Commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations </li></ul>
