<p>ABOUT VOORHEES UNIVERSITY</p> <p>In celebration of its 125th year of existence on April 7, 2022, Voorhees College was renamed Voorhees University to honor founder, Elizabeth Evelyn Wight. Voorhees University is a private, diverse, historically black, coeducational, liberal arts, baccalaureate degree-granting institution affiliated with the Episcopal Church. Located in rural Denmark, South Carolina, the University serves traditional and nontraditional students primarily from South Carolina and the southeastern region of the United States; however, seeks to expand our reach both nationally and internationally. Through this charge, greater emphasis will be placed on high performing learners, highly accomplished faculty and staff, an involved community, and a supportive and dedicated alumni base.</p> <p>Position: Compliance Coordinator</p> <p>Division: Strategic Planning, Assessment, and Technology</p> <p>Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000</p> <p>FLSA Classification: Salaried, Exempt</p> <p>Position Type/Duration: Grant-funded/Full Time, 12 months</p> <p>Position Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday (evenings, weekends, and travel may be required)</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>The Compliance Coordinator will facilitate continuous improvement by managing the development and implementation of a comprehensive program of assessment for the purpose of institutional improvements in accordance with accreditation requirements in support of institutional effectiveness (IE). The Compliance Coordinator must work collaboratively with the faculty, staff, administrators, and stakeholders in developing effective strategies for institutional assessments, including the academic assessment of student learning outcomes and program learning outcomes in all program content areas. Report to the Director of Institutional Effectiveness, Assessment & Research.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate academic units to develop effective strategies for the academic assessment of student learning outcomes at the general education and program levels. </li><li>Develop statistical models to measure impact of learning support services on student achievement of intended learning outcomes. </li><li>Analyze data and develop reports as required for accountability and accreditation </li><li>Serve as a repository for evidence and reports associated with the Institution's assessment agenda. </li><li>Support faculty with assessment training and current research </li><li>Respond in a timely manner to requests from stakeholders concerning assessment needs </li><li>Serve as an active participant on the Program Review Committee and institutional committees. </li><li>Work with the accreditation liaison officer and assist with accreditation activities </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <ul> <li>Standard Office Environment </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in a related field, preferred.
