Posting Number 20166722S Job Description</p> <p>The Russ College of Engineering & Technology's Office of the Dean at Ohio University seeks applicants for the position of Assistant Director of Career, Employer Engagement, and Events. The Assistant Director of Career, Employer Engagement, and Events will be responsible for the following activities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Build relationships with regional employers and industrial groups and conduct outreach and recruitment activities including career fairs, information sessions, and panels; work with companies to develop internship and co-op opportunities;</p> </li><li> <p>Provide direction and support for on-campus interviews, including industry-focused workshops and group coaching sessions;</p> </li><li> <p>Collect and manage career services data for both internal college and programmatic use and University-wide accreditation;</p> </li><li> <p>Teach multiple sections of .5-credit hour ET1500 Career Orientation course per academic year;</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee work-based learning and other scholarships for the College;</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee student support, student events, and other events for the college.</p> </li></ol> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, Higher Education Administration, or a related field. </li><li>A minimum of 3 years experience in a higher education environment including event planning and general career development planning; </li><li>A minimum of 1 year of management experience, and the ability to travel independently. </li><li>An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications Department Engineering and Technology, Dean's Office Pay Rate</p> <p>Competitive salary with excellent benefits package.
